Leyton Orient Captain Banned For 6 Games

Liam Kelly has been banned by the FA for six games after shoving a ballboy in their fixture away at Plymouth Argyle.

Plymouth reported the Orient skipper on Wednesday after he appeared to push the ballboy to the ground in the 86th minute of Orient’s win on Tuesday.Officials missed the incident during the game but Kelly is said to have been caught on video.

He denied the violent conduct charge but the FA still found him guilty and decided to award a six game ban as the standard three game ban would be “insufficient”.

Leyton Orient will be without their captain for the fixtures against Notts County (H), Cheltenham (H), Stevenage (A), Newport County (A), Grimsby Town (H) and Accrington Stanley (A).
